What to bring:
Light snacks and water will be available on the boat. Bring whatever food you would like.
It is recommended that you dress appropriately for the weather and bring sunscreen, hats and sunglasses. The Moby Nick is a dry boat, but depending on sea and wind conditions, passengers may get a little wet.
If you are susceptible to seasickness, please plan accordingly.
Captain Russo prefers that clients wear “non marking” foot wear like, boat shoes, crocs or Xtratuf or Grudens deck boots. Feel free to also go barefoot.
Trips Policies:
$150 deposit is required to reserve your trip.
In order to receive a refund for cancelled trips, the trip must be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to departure.
Captain Russo reserves the right to cancel trips for any reason. Deposit will be returned if your trip is canceled.
All tackle and bait will be supplied but feel free to bring your favorite rod & reel (subject to inspection).
Although sometimes we may not be lucky enough to catch fish, we will do everything possible in order to try to make that happen. Even if it means staying out a little longer.
The Moby Nick and Captain Russo are licensed under USCG federal guidelines and even though marijuana may be legal in New Jersey, it is strictly prohibited on federal vessels. Therefore is not permitted on the Moby Nick.
Only beer will be allowed on board, no hard alcohol or other illegal drugs. The Captain reserves the right to terminate the charter at any time for intoxicated or disorderly conduct.
All charter clients will be picked up at the Beach Haven Municipal Boat Ramp in the William L. Butler Park behind Bay Village and Schooner’s Warf, 9th Street, Beach Haven, NJ (see map). There are public restrooms in the park for your use.
